Exxell affirms diversity commitment

Leading specialist rail and engineering recruitment company Exxell has renewed its commitment to recruiting and selecting as diverse a range of candidates as possible for all employment opportunities.

Exxell has also pledged to continue to provide all of its recruitment consultants with equality and diversity training, ensuring job-seekers and applicants continue to be treated with respect, and that all recruitment and selection procedures are free from discrimination. 

Matt Southall, Managing Director of Exxell’s UK parent company the Acorn Group, confirmed the commitment in the re-signing of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation Diversity Pledge. 

The Diversity pledge – launched at the end of 2005 by REC and Jobcentre Plus – is a commitment made by recruiters to harness the talent and potential of everyone to achieve business success
