LUL / Network Rail

Based in Southampton, Exxell’s Rail Division has many years’ experience of supplying a broad spectrum of manpower to the rail infrastructure and construction industries. Our specialist recruitment consultants are experienced in matching the specific requirements of clients and project with the appropriate personnel.

Our consultants work extensively with Network Rail and London Underground (LUL) clients. We supply blue collar and white collar staff either as individual contractors or whole teams from designers to electrical engineers. Our services can be completely tailored to our clients’ needs.

With the stringent safety requirements of London Underground and Network Rail in mind, all site roles are provided with relevant certification, including LU access permit, Track Accustomed, Level 3 Safe Isolation, Lift and Escalator, Qaf54, PTS, Lookout, COSS & ES and more.

Exxell’s Safety Critical and Track Labour Division supply staff to the Network Rail Controlled Infrastructure including individual PTS Trackman, Lookout / Site Wardens, Engineering Supervisors and Track Teams, which are fully equipped with the necessary PPE, Hand Tools and Transport for long-term and short-term work.

Exxell holds Link Up 5918 01 and 02, we are approved by the union UNITE and signed to UCATT‘s agency agreement, and members of the and JIB. Our clients include consultants, main contractors, global manufacturers, infrastructure, waste management and utility companies.

The Rail Division is Link-up approved to provide professional and technical personnel to the rail industry. The team has more than 10 years’ experience of providing services to Infrastructure Managers, Consultancies and Sub-Contractors. We have provided services to Westinghouse, GEC Alstom, Siemens, Network Rail, Mowlem, Balfour Beatty Rail Projects, Tubelines and Metronet.
